How do I know if my bottles will fit CBH Deluxe?
It may be best to first quickly review the What does compatibility with CBH Deluxe mean? section to better understand what a good fit means.

There are several ways to tell if Your specific bottle will fit either CBH Deluxe 500 or CBH Deluxe 1000.
METHOD 1
If You have the means to measure the diameter of Your bottle cap, measure it (for example with a ruler or a caliper), then compare Your value to the minimum-maximum range shown in the Compatibility size chart below. If Your measurement is within the range for one of the products, Your cap diameter is compatible with that CBH Deluxe.
METHOD 2
You can compare Your condiment bottle cap to some common household items to check for compatibility. While this method is not perfectly accurate, if Your caps are about the size of, or slightly smaller than the items listed below, they should fit.

METHOD 3
Another way to verify compatibility is to use our printable Compatibility indication guide.
Download the printable Compatibility indication guide PDF document. Open the document and hit "Print". Under "Print settings" make sure you set the “Actual size” option to assure accuracy then print the document to a letter-size sheet of paper.
Once the document is printed, confirm that a quarter coin aligns with the printed “size of a quarter dollar coin” circle.
If there is a mismatch switch to “Custom scale” printing and adjust the percentage until the coin matches the circle.
Now you are ready to align your cap with the test zones. Place your bottle with the cap side down against a "Fit zone".
There is a "Fit zone" for the 500 and another for the 1000 model. If Your cap fits within the "Fit zone for CBH 500" then it will be compatible with CBH 500, if it fits within the "Fit zone for CBH 1000" then it will be compatible with CBH 1000.
This cap fits inside the "Fit zone for CBH 500" so it is compatible with CBH 500.
This cap is outside of the "Fit zone for CBH 500", it is too small and is thus not compatible with CHB 500. Most small caps go on hot sauces that do not need to be kept upside down as they are liquidy enough.
This cap is also outside of the "Fit zone for CBH 500", it is too large and is thus not compatible with CHB 500. After testing with the "Fit zone for CHB 1000" we may find that the cap fits inside the "Fit zone for CBH 1000" so it is compatible with CBH 1000.
If a cap is outside of the "Fit zone for CBH 1000" because it is too large, it is not compatible with CHB 1000. For caps larger than CBH 1000, we often find that resting on the cap is perfectly stable and Dunlin’s Condiment Bottle holder is not needed.
Zoom in or out to confirm that a quarter coin aligns with the designated “size of a quarter dollar coin” circle.
Once confirmed, remove the coin and take care to keep the zoom unchanged.
Now you are ready to align your cap with the test zones. Place your bottle with the cap side down against a "Fit zone".

METHOD 5
During our extensive market research, we have analyzed numerous bottles and caps sold by nationwide grocery stores such as Walmart, Kroger, Costco, Albertsons, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, 7-Eleven, Trader Joe’s, etc. A collection of popular brands and products in specific-size bottles are provided below. If You own any of these, or products with caps identical (in size and shape) to these, compatibility should be assured, although condiment makers may change the caps without notice. Please note that this list is by no means all-inclusive, there are many other brands and products that have extremely similar caps assuring compatibility.

What does compatibility with CBH Deluxe mean?
Compatibility with CBH Deluxe means that a selected condiment bottle (with its cap on) fits well into the cavity of the CBH Deluxe product.

the bottle can stay upside down without sliding or tilting out of the CBH Deluxe holder on its own
Not every bottle may be held perfectly vertically, but some amount of leaning is perfectly safe.
The more the bottle is leaning the easier it is to tip over or tilt out of the holder.
If the bottle is leaning too much or is tipping over, the bottle may be too small for the selected CBH Model.
How do we assure compatibility with CBH Deluxe?
We have conducted extensive market research on condiment bottles that enabled our highly experienced engineers to develop the most suitable cavity shapes and sizes. Based on the findings we made the CBH Deluxe available in two sizes. The CBH Deluxe 500 model was designed for smaller cap-diameter bottles while the CBH Deluxe 1000 model was designed for larger cap-diameter bottles. These two options together provide compatibility with a great number of condiment bottle cap sizes. Our engineers also added special grooves that are designed to align with the cap hinges and cap lips although not all caps have these features.
What is CBH Deluxe compatible with?
To get a clear picture of overall compatibility with CBH Deluxe, it is best to understand the various factors that contribute to it.
Physical properties of the bottle contents
The CBH Deluxe product line was primarily developed to be used with bottles that contain thick, viscous, non-watery liquids that do not flow easily and that have a tendency to stick to the insides of the bottles. When these bottles are left at rest the contents will slowly accumulate. The CBH Deluxe products can enable the contents to accumulate near the caps providing immediate access.
The CBH Deluxe is not intended to be used with bottles that contain high liquidity substances such as hot sauces, salsas, sriracha, soy sauces, or other marinating liquids as these can be easily and immediately accessed when the bottle is turned upside down.

Various household items are also compatible with the CBH Deluxe, such as some liquid soap refill bottles, however, fitting with these bottles was not a primary objective during the design of the product.
The default orientation of the bottle
The CBH Deluxe products were designed to keep those bottles upside down that normally are standing cap-side up. These bottles often have a small cap, sometimes coupled with a longer neck, that makes them very unstable when turned upside down.
Several condiment bottles are sold with the cap already facing down. The Condiment Bottle Holder Deluxe is not meant to be used for such bottles.
The shape and material of caps and bottles
Compatibility with the CBH Deluxe product is assured through a good fit with the cap of the bottle. The shape of the bottle should not negatively impact compatibility. Bottles that have a longer neck with the same diameter as the cap will generally fit even better. The material of the caps and bottles also should not matter; plastic, metal, and glass are equally compatible.
The CBH Deluxe is designed to fit both screw-on style and hinged caps. Hinged caps often have lips to provide a better grip for opening them along with a hinge. The special shape of CBH Deluxe is compatible with most hinges and lips. While some caps are shaped as spouts (for example most mustard caps), most of these remain compatible with the product as the spouts fit through the push-out hole.
Since the bottle should be inserted into the CBH Deluxe with the cap already secured to the bottle (twisted on and closed) the type of thread between the bottle and cap does not matter. The threads are not interacting with the CBH Deluxe.
The product is not compatible with bottles equipped with a dispenser pump head.
The size of caps and bottles
Brands of food items
The key determinant of compatibility with caps is their diameter. The CBH Deluxe 500 model fits smaller diameter caps, while the CBH 1000 model fits larger diameter caps. Each of our products fits not only a single diameter cap, instead, there is a minimum-maximum range of diameters that the product is compatible with. Detailed instructions are provided below on how to tell exactly what sizes fit which model.
The product is not compatible with very small (hot sauces) or very large (pickle and mayo jar) caps.
A great number of well-known brands are sold in bottles that are compatible with CBH Deluxe. While there are variations in the shapes and sizes of bottles and caps within the same brand, multiple examples of compatible products can be found from many brands, including from the ones shown below.
